1. Register as a Baidu Translation Developer

• Log on Baidu Translation Open Platform, click the "Management Console" button to access the management console。

• If you are entering the management console for the first time, you need to register as a Baidu Translation developer. You can choose individual developer or enterprise developer, as a enterprise developer have a higher QPS (number of translations per second).

2. Open translation service

• If you are a first-time developer, you need to activate translation services in order to achieve translation functionality. On the management console page, in the "My Services" option, click the "Activate Now" button.

• Please select the translation service you need to activate, where 'General Text Translation' must be enabled.

• Choose the desired service version, either "Standard Version" or "Advanced Version".

• After selecting the version, fill in the application name and click the "Submit Application" button to activate the service.

3. Obtain APP ID and API key

• In the management console, click on the "Developer Information" tab on the left to obtain your APP ID and API key.
